Before moving to Southern California in 2009 with his wife, Janna, to attend The Master's Seminary, Mike received a B.A. in Italian and an M.Ed in Foreign Language from Rutgers University. He has had the privilege of teaching middle school Italian in Central New Jersey. Since coming to Grace Church, Mike has served in the Assimilation department, and now serves as Pastor of Local Outreach Ministries, which includes overseeing Fundamentals of the Faith classes, local evangelism, and six foreign-language Bible studies.
